Financial Aid Information

Federal
Pell Grants:
These are federal entitlements available to any qualified, needy undergraduate
student who is attending college at least half-time and who has not
previously earned a Bachelor's degree. Less than half-time students
may be eligible provided they demonstrate exceptional financial need.
|
|
Federal
Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants (SEOG):
These are grants available to undergraduate students with exceptional
financial need who are attending school at least half-time.
|
|
Hawaii
Student Incentive Grants (HSIG):
These are tuition grants available to needy undergraduate students attending
school at least half-time. To qualify for a Hawaii Student Incentive
Grant, a student must be eligible for a Pell Grant and be a resident
of Hawaii for tuition pruposes. Availability subject to federal and
state funding.

Tuition
Waivers and other Tuition Grants:
A limited number of tuition waivers and tuition grants are available
to students in graduate and professional programs. Students should contact
their academic department of professional school for more information.

Graduate
Assistantships:
A number of graduate assistantships are available to qualified students
capable of performing teaching, technical or research functions. Interested
students should contact the chairman of the appropriate academic department.
|
|
Fellowships:
The Fellowship Office of the Graduate Division maintains general information
on fellowships administered by outside foundations and agencies which
are open to graduate students. Other awards are made available to students
through academic departments or professional schools. Interested graduate
students are urged to contact their department or professional school
for information on available opportunities.

Endowed or Privately Sponsored Scholarships:
Campus financial aid office may administer other privately funded aid
programs. See listings below or the individual campus catalogs for a
listing of these programs where they exist.
